Dr Siva is a GP Partner at Eastmed Doctors. He is a NZ trained GP. Main interests are General Practice, Skin Cancer Medicine and Minor Surgery . Siva enjoys all areas of General Practice. He took over from the late Dr Fred Strange in 2010. He thinks it is a great previlege to be a GP. He enjoys the continuity of care general practice offers and he is the GP for several  three or more generations of the same family. Being of south asian origin he knows the importance of preventive medicine which makes a difference in peoples lives. His books are open and he is enrolling new patients.

Melanoma Mole Checks

Siva offers melanoma mole checks. He has been using a Dermoscope since 2005. This is a polarised light microscope which aids in early skin cancer including melanoma diagnosis. 

Southern Cross Affiliated Provider for Skin Cancer Work

He is a Southern Cross Affiliated Provider for Skin Cancer work including dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery.


He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) and  has worked in the UK and in NZ hospitals as a Surgeon for 15 years.

Dr Siva is married and has a 17 year old son.

  • undergone additional specialist training to acquire advanced skills in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, including surgical skills that require significant further education and training to acquire. 
  • and he possess a professional skill set that differentiates them from regular GPs who have not completed additional training in skin cancer.
