COVID UPDATE

We are in level 2.5. We are available for our patient’s health concerns as usual. On arrival you need to wait in the car. You doctor or nurse will contact you when ready. You will be asked for covid related symptoms. If you have no symptoms you will be seen in the clinic. If you have symptoms your doctor will decide where to consult you.

We would like to kindly ask all patients to wear a mask while they are inside Eastmed Doctors. If you have not got a face mask, please inform reception so one can be given to you on arrival. Hand hygiene station is located at the entrance.

If you have Covid19 symptoms or been advised to get a swab done this can be done at Eastmed Doctors. Please make an appointment for your swab.

 

IT UPDATE

NEW PRACTICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

We have just upgraded our computer system. The go live date for the new system is the 07 September 2020.  Some things might take a little longer than usual – we apologise for any delays in advance.  Please be patient, till we learn the ropes.

 

PATIENT PORTAL

We are pleased to announce that Eastmed Doctors will move to a new patient portal on the 07 September 2020.  Until then you can continue to use Health365 which is our current patient portal.

When you get to the registration website, you will need to enter: 

  • Your full name
  • Your birth date
  • Your NHI number (this is a code that will be on any information that you receive from the hospital, it has 3 letters and 4 numbers.  If you don’t know your NHI, you can email us on reception@eastmed.co.nz .
  • Your email address (each person in your family will need their OWN unique email address to be able to join the portal – email addresses cannot be shared for the portal)
  • A password (This needs to be a minimum of 8 characters in length and have at least two digits in addition to letters)

To protect your privacy, this process will only give you access to the appointment booking section of your portal.  To access your repeat prescription area, you will need to contact the practice who will grant you full access to your account. You can do this during your next appointment.

The first time you login, you will need to agree with the portal Terms & Conditions (http://www.healthspace.nz/assets/Uploads/Forms/myindici-Patient-Portal-User-Agreement.pdf). 

Once you have enrolled in the portal, you will be able to access it from: https://myindici.co.nz.

For their safety, the portal is not available for children and young people under 16 years of age, however, you can book an appointment for a family member using your own portal, just note the name of the patient and their date of birth in the ‘Reason’ field.

 

VIDEO CONSULTATION
