Seeing your doctor -beat the crowds
We are expecting a drop down to Alert level 2 next week. Social distancing and hand hygiene measures are still very important to keep Covid19 in control.
Your doctor is relatively free now. There is going to be an increased uptake of appointments once we reach level 2. Please remember we are here for you and we do not wish you to hold on to your medical problems. If you feel that you need to see your doctor please contact our front desk and request a telephone or video consultation with your doctor. In Person Consultation
If you have chosen in person consultation when booking through Health365, you need to stay in your car on arrival and inform reception of the car park number.
Flu Injection Update
There has been difficulty in the supply chain of flu vaccines from the District Health Boards/Ministry of Health. We are getting flu injection supplies on a limited basis. We are keeping a list of patients who are due for flu jabs. Please ring the front desk to go on that list. As soon as the flu jabs are available you will be contacted.
Covid19 testing
Covid19 Swabbing – if you have corona virus symptoms testing can be done at Eastmed Doctors. Please ring front desk on 09 585 0188 and inform you may have concerning symptoms (Fever, Cough, Sore throat, Shortness of breath, regardless of overseas travel or close contact with a suspected or a confirmed case of COVID19). Your doctor will ring you and if deemed necessary a swab to test Covid19 can be done at Eastmed Doctors.
Temporary Extension of Driver Licence

Cervical and Breast Screening
Screening activities are resumed during Level 3. Please contact front desk to book a time to have these done if you are due.
